This policy explains cancellation and refunds for the Event Pass and Professional Host licence.
Before digital access begins
For an eligible distance contract, the default is a 14-day cancellation period. A customer may cancel by making any clear statement of that decision and does not have to use the model wording below. If required cancellation information is not supplied correctly, the cancellation period may be extended.
Immediate digital access
If a customer asks for digital supply to begin before the cancellation period ends, checkout must obtain express consent to start supply and an acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost once supply begins. It must record and provide durable confirmation of both before access is issued. No checkbox may be preselected.
Faults and service problems
Cancellation rights and rights when a product is faulty are different. Nothing in a GameSpark policy removes statutory rights where digital content or services are not as described, of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or supplied with reasonable care and skill. Depending on the circumstances, remedies can include repair, replacement, repeat performance, a price reduction or refund. Reports should be investigated using the order reference, signed-in account, problem details and recovery evidence without requesting passwords or full card details.
How to request cancellation
Email support@gamesparkstudio.co.uk. Include the purchaser name, order reference, purchase date, product and a clear statement that cancellation is requested. Do not send passwords or full card details.

Refund handling and confirmation
Where a refund is legally due for digital content, it will be provided without undue delay and no later than 14 days after GameSpark agrees the customer is entitled to it, using the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise and without a refund fee. GameSpark will acknowledge the request, explain the outcome and provide durable confirmation. Paid access is revoked only after a verified provider refund event matches the customer’s order.
